Summer Associate
Nathan & Kamionski LLP has a leading legal practice specializing in representing law enforcement in federal Section 1983 lawsuits and is seeking a highly motivated and talented Summer Associate to join our Chicago Office this summer. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced attorneys and will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in complex legal matters.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues related to federal Section 1983 lawsuits.
Assist in drafting legal briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
Collaborate with other team members and clients to resolve legal issues.
Attend training sessions and participate in educational opportunities.
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a JD program from an accredited law school.
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of federal law, particularly the Section 1983 statute.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
