Neha Locke is an Senior Associate at Nathan & Kamionski LLP. Her practice focuses on civil rights litigation where she defends her clients against claims of police misconduct. She earned her Juris Doctorate in 2010 from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism in 2007 from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

 

Prior to joining Nathan & Kamionski LLP, Ms. Locke spent a decade proudly serving as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Chicago, Illinois. During her time with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, Ms. Locke prosecuted violent crimes in the Felony Trial Division, including sexual assaults, batteries and homicides. She litigated hundreds of bench trials, motions and over a dozen jury trials. In addition to an extensive trial litigation background, Ms. Locke also has appellate litigation experience, gained during her time as an attorney for the Illinois State’s Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor. Ms. Locke wrote dozens of appellate briefs in various areas of criminal law and appeared before the Fifth District Appellate Court numerous times for oral argument.
