MAYER ENGELSBERG

Mayer Engelsberg is an Associate Attorney at Nathan & Kamionski LLP. His practice focuses on civil rights litigation. Prior to joining Nathan & Kamionski LLP, Mr. Engelsberg worked at a Baltimore area family law and personal injury firm where he gained significant litigation experience. While in law school, he spent a summer at the District of Columbia Office of the Attorney General, Civil Litigation Division, affording him hands on experience defending the municipality against claims of civil rights violations.

Mr. Engelsberg graduated from Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore, MD in 2013, where he earned a Bachelor of Talmudic Law. He received his Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington D.C. in 2018. At Georgetown, Mr. Engelsberg served as a Senior Staff Editor on the Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law and Policy. He also spent a summer in Detroit, MI where he interned with the Honorable Mark A. Goldsmith of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Prior to law school, Mr. Engelsberg served as a Legislative Intern at the Office of United States Senator Debbie Stabenow (MI).

Mr. Engelsberg is currently a member of the Maryland State Bar Association.
