Brian Wilson focuses his practice on commercial litigation and civil rights defense. Prior to joining Nathan & Kamionski LLP, Mr. Wilson was proud to work for the City of Chicago defending police officers and other employees accused of civil rights violations. Before that, Mr. Wilson was a partner and commercial litigator in a boutique Chicago law firm, during which he represented both plaintiffs and defendants, individuals and businesses, in a wide array of commercial disputes including breach of contract, fraud, shareholder oppression, trustee/beneficiary disputes, eviction, bankruptcy, partition, corporate dissolution, unpaid wages and mechanic’s liens.

Mr. Wilson is a bona fide law enthusiast who loves his work and the challenge of persuading others. Yet he never forgets that litigation is not an intellectual exercise, and at the center of every case is a client whose livelihood or reputation could be at stake. He owes it to his clients to be able to explain every step taken and every resource used in aid of achieving his client’s goals, and thus develops a strategy early in a dispute to ensure that the big picture is never lost, and time is not wasted on tactics that may be standard in most cases but serve no real purpose in the one at hand.

Outside of work, he is an avid jogger and tennis player, fiction reader and writer, and enjoys volunteering his time with special needs athletes and their families.
